How voting works:   When a purchase is made at a polling place, the purchaser is given a coffee bean to vote for or against the 1-cent sales tax extension.  Each week data from the polling places is collected and reported here.

Note:  We are not trying to sway the vote one way or the other.  The purpose for this project is to stimulate debate and to encourage people to vote.
